Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully, as they form a basis upon which bookings are accepted by Lil' Italian Holidays

 

Validity

This tour is valid for the dates shown. All prices are based on the exchange rate of the AUD 1 to EURO 0.60 from the 1st Jan 2019. We reserve the right to adjust the price with currency fluctuations. Once the tour is paid in full, no increase will be applied.

Invoices

Confirmed bookings will be issued with an invoice upon confirmation detailing all services booked. It is your responsibility to ensure all details are correct.

 

Deposits

A non refundable deposit of $500 per person is required within 14 days of making the booking, to secure your reservation. A second non refundable instalment of 50% of the total cost is required 100 days before commencement date of the tour. Failure to pay the deposit on time may result in your booking being cancelled. Italian hotels require a non refundable deposit for group tours.

 

Inclusions

Air conditioned coach transfers to and from 3-4 star hotel accomodation, centrally located in the town, Italy stay tax, expert English speaking local tour guides, sightseeing tours and some entrance fees, private boat to Capri, meals & transportation specified on itinerary.

 

Exclusions

Airfares, visa and passport costs, travel insurance, vaccination and medical expenses, excess luggage, laundry, postage, phone calls, fax/email chargers, meals and beverages, transfers, optional sight seeing and entrance fees, items of a personal nature, tips to tour guides & hotel porters are not included in this tour, unless otherwise specified.

 

Final Payment

Final payment is due 60 days prior to the commencement date of the tour. We reserve the right to cancel the booking and apply the appropriate cancellation charges where you fail to meet payment conditions.

 

Amendments

We recommend you check all your details & arrangements carefully to avoid changes to your itinerary once booked. All changes and alterations to bookings after the first one will incur a fee of A$50 (incl. GST)

 

Important Notice

This information may alter from time to time due to changes that are beyond the control of the operators and their agents. These changes may affect prices, duration of tours, itineraries, contents, etc. This information has been carefully checked and to the best of our knowledge is correct at the time of going to press. Prices and conditions of travel are subject to change without notice.

 

Prices

Prices include Italy stay tax. Prices may change due to alterations in exchange rates or other price rises beyond our control. In case of increases, we reserve the right to adjust prices accordingly at any time up until the delivery of services irrespective if the payment has been received in full or not. Receipt of deposit or full payment signifies your acceptance of the cost of services provided and booking conditions.

 

Travel Documents

Travel Documents cannot be issued until full payment is received and will be available approximately 25 days prior to commencement day of the tour.

 

Additional Charges

Document re-issue fee is $60 for any amendment made which necessitates re-issue of documents. Paypal payments will incur a fee of 3% and will be added to the amount paid.

 

Cancellation Fees

Cancellation charges are calculated according to the number of days prior to commencement of the tour: 99 or less days- Loss of 50% deposit, 59 days prior to commencement date-loss of 100% of total cost.

Refunds

No refund will be given for any service which is not used by you due to late arrival, early departure, or by choice. This includes the failure of any transportation to operate as scheduled. We do not authorise any supplier to promise refunds on our behalf. No refund will apply if the cost of your holiday is reduced after deposit or payment is made.

 

Travel Insurance is compulsory for all bookings. If you do not hold insurance you will be required to sign a waiver.

 

Consumer Claims

We endeavour to ensure that all your arrangements proceed smoothly. However, should a problem occur during your tour it is essential and most practical to try to resolve it locally with the service provider. If you are unhappy with your hotel room please inform the duty manager so the situation may be rectified on the spot. If you fail to take these steps any claim to compensation may be reduced or denied. If you are unable to resolve the matter and you wish to lodge a claim, this must be made in writing with supporting documentation within 30 days of completion of our services. No claim received outside this period will be considered. No refund is given where services have been cancelled or not utilised after completion of the tour.

 

Lil' Italian Holidays and other eligible parties shall not be responsible for any injury, damage, accident, loss or delay in respect of any person or property. In this clause the expression 'eligible parties' shall include carrier, tour operator, tour escorts, or other provider of any services in respect to a tour.

 

Brochure Content

Every effort has been made to ensure that the information is accurate at the time of printing. We shall not be liable for any injury, damage or loss caused by any unintended inaccuracy. If for reasons beyond our control, and if we determine in the interest of safety & security or for operational reasons change your package arrangements, modify or cancel scheduled services and/or accommodation, either in whole or in part we reserve the right to do so, and will endeavour to provide alternative arrangements of the same standard of that originally booked where necessary.

 

Tour Liability

Lil' Italian Holidays shall in no circumstances whatsoever be liable to the client or any person travelling with him, for death, personal injury, sickness, accident, loss of any misadventure howsoever caused: any act, omission, default of any hotelier, or other person or by any agent employed by them who may be engaged or concerned in the provision of accommodation or service for client, or any person travelling with him howsoever caused; the temporary or permanent loss of or damage to baggage or personal effects howsoever caused.

 

Photos & Marketing

Unless you advise us to the contrary in writing, you consent to us using images of you taken during the trip for advertising and promotional purposes in any medium we choose and you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable licence to use such images for publicity and promotional purposes.

  

Privacy Policy

Any personal information that we collect about you may be used for any purpose associated with the operation of a tour or to send you marketing material in relation to our special offers. The information may be disclosed to our agents, service providers or other suppliers to enable us to operate the tour. 

 

Please note: There are a minimum of 10 guests that must sign up in order for this trip to take place. We will hold your deposit & payments until the minimum number of guests have signed up. Please do not purchase any airfares until you get the go-ahead from us that we have reached our minimum number of participants. If the minimum number of guests have not signed up 100 days prior to the commencement date of the tour, we will give you the option to transfer your reservation to our next tour or fully refund your money.
